Meet the Chiropractors

  • Dr.
    Melissa Kisla

Dr. Melissa Kisla serves Douglassville, New Holland, Intercourse and the surrounding communities in PA.

Dr. Kisla's use chiropractic care to improve the health and wellness in all areas of patient's lives, whether they are having problems with back pain or neck pain, or just want to start feeling better when they wake up in the morning.  The doctors take a 'whole person' approach in chiropractic care, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms. Many seemingly unrelated symptoms often arise from imbalances in the spinal column, and the doctors will be able to determine the root of the pain and create a personalized chiropractic and wellness plan to suit each patient's individual needs. Under the supervision and care of our caring and skilled chiropractors, patients report higher functioning in all areas of their lives.

Dr. Kisla is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College and has been practicing chiropractic for 15  years.  She obtained post-graduate study in Manipulation under Anesthesia (MUA) in 2009 under Texas Chiropractic College. Manipulation Under Anesthesia is a non-invasive procedure that is offered for patients suffering from chronic conditions, including; headaches, neck and back pain, leg pain, hip pain, shoulder pain, fibromyalgia.  MUA is beneficial by allowing relaxation paired with spinal manipulations and passive stretches to break up fibrous adhesions and scar tissue. There is an 80-90% success rate for patients who undergo MUA.

Reviews By Our Satisfied Patients

  • "Amazing!!! Dr. Kisla healed my carpal tunnel. I was ready to have surgery and now I don’t need to!!! Plus, my headaches and neck pain have resolved and I no longer suffer to walk due to lower back pain. My entire family now goes to Dr. Kisla for all of their ailments! Her staff is amazing too!!! She comes highly recommended by everyone I speak to."

  • "I have been a patient of Dr Kisla’s for 15 years. I came to her with a serious back injury. She worked with me and relieved my pain and today my back and flexibility are better than ever! I go in for a "tune up" each month and at the age of 52 I am able to work at a very physically demanding job and wouldn’t be able to do it without her care! Thank You Dr K"
