Dr. Kisla is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College and has been practicing chiropractic for 25 years. She obtained post-graduate study in Manipulation under Anesthesia (MUA) in 2009 under Texas Chiropractic College. Manipulation Under Anesthesia is a non-invasive procedure that is offered for patients suffering from chronic conditions, including; headaches, neck and back pain, leg pain, hip pain, shoulder pain, fibromyalgia. MUA is beneficial by allowing relaxation paired with spinal manipulations and passive stretches to break up fibrous adhesions and scar tissue. There is an 80-90% success rate for patients who undergo MUA.
Along with MUA, Dr. Kisla is also certified in The Webster Technique, which is a method of chiropractic care for pregnant women that provides numerous benefits. From an easier birth to help with pregnancy symptoms, receiving care from Dr. Kisla during your pregnancy is a no-brainer! She even looks forward to treating your baby alongside you after your pregnancy
Dr. Kisla uses chiropractic care to improve the health and wellness in all areas of her patient's lives, whether they are having problems with back pain or neck pain, or just want to start feeling better when they wake up in the morning. She prides herself in taking a 'whole person' approach to chiropractic care, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms. Many seemingly unrelated symptoms often arise from imbalances in the spinal column, and Dr. Kisla can determine the root of the pain and create a personalized chiropractic and wellness plan to suit each patient's individual needs.
